I was lucky enough to photograph big bro as a newborn and also did his 1st year cake smash. You might remember him from the pics with the adorable cactus theme. Well, momma brought me another baby! YAY! He was just the cutest, posing perfectly and then even waking up to play with me a little bit before they went home for the day. I swear they make the cutest kids! Having 2 boys brings it’s challenges but man, they sure melt my momma heart!
I have known this beautiful mommy since 2005, I believe… I photographed her first pregnancy and newborn and now I have had the honor of documenting her family growing once again!
Baby Caiden is a Rainbow Baby. A rainbow baby signifies the blessing of a healthy baby born after a loss. Momma didn’t announce her pregnancy until baby was here safe and sound and he was also a SURPRISE GENDER! Nine whole months of not knowing and not posting! That takes some serious discipline!
In this set of images, you will notice the baby’s red string bracelet. Then you will see that the whole family has them!
Spiritual Meaning To The Red String Bracelet:
This Rainbow Baby was born in the same month of the family’s loss, exactly one year later. I can’t help but get the feeling of karmic connection and welcoming. Look at baby Caiden holding mom’s ring finger!
Now you will see a smitten big sister loving on her new baby bro. So cute!
Finally, a few more of my favorites from the gallery. There were so many to choose from making it hard to decide but this session and this family were perfection.
It’s always hard for me to believe when an entire year has gone by but my clients keep reminding me when I get an email saying it’s time for a cake smash! I remember this little guy’s newborn session… He was one of my wide awake babies! LOL! He did not want to miss a thing!
For his cake smash, we were considering a farm animal/ barnyard theme but the weather was so amazing and they had not gotten any family photos recently so we decided to do a family sesh with a little cupcake smash at the end.
Finding the perfect places to photograph outdoor family sessions in the Las Vegas desert can be challenging. Especially in the fall, when many families are longing for the beautiful changing leaves that most other states take for granted. But when I stumbled across this hidden jewel, while hiking with a friend, I immediately knew this place would be amazing for pictures!
I have been lucky enough to watch this awesome family grow! I photographed the last 2 babies and they really are just the cutest family ever. The newest addition was just as squishy as the last. He was nice and sleepy for me for the first half of the session and then he popped his eyes open and decided to stay awake for the remainder of our time together. Look how beautiful these guys are!
Sheenagal Photography is proud to announce it’s newest location for clients, Valley of Fire State Park! Just a short drive to Overton, and well worth it! This spot is the perfect place for locals or visitors and after your session, you can drive around and enjoy some of the breathtaking rock formations covering nearly 46,000 acres! Weekends and holidays are the most popular times for visitors, so I recommend trying to book a session during a weekday, if at all possible, to avoid sometimes long wait times at the entrance. I really don’t need to say much more about this place because the pictures speak for themselves… Take a look!
The only set of twins I have had all year and they were the absolute easiest babies to work with! I swear I luck out sometimes! We got so many great pictures! Momma was a total rockstar, went full term and got to bring these babies home on time with no NICU stay! When these 2 came to see me, they were right around a week old. So blessed! And I had the pleasure of photographing both of momma’s maternity sessions and the twins’ older brother as a newborn as well. It is always an honor to have clients come back for all their special moments and allowing me to help document their growing families. And this session was EXTRA special because I got to snuggle 2 babies instead of just one!
It’s always nice to have a baby that comes in and sleeps well for you and rocks out almost every pose you try! Momma wanted some more contrasty colors for this session too and I love how it all came together. Check it out!
